It’s that time of the year again – the silly season. As we get into the Christmas spirit with decorations, parties and cheer, we tend to neglect our teeth and health by over eating and drinking. Remember to keep things in moderation (especially at work functions lol) and be careful of that pork crackling!

2012 is slowly coming to a close and so are the health fund rebates for most insurers, as the majority run according to the calendar year and not financial year. Call your health fund to reconfirm which calendar they work on.

If you have not been in for your regular exam and clean or require any work done, make the most of your health insurance premiums and make an appointment before you lose any benefits. The unused benefits DO NOT roll over into the following year – use it or lose it.
